WIDE FLANGE BEAM/H SECTION/ I BEAM/ W SECTION

A wide flange beam is a type of structural steel characterized by its H or I shape. The horizontal plates on the top and bottom are called flanges, while the vertical plate connecting them is known as the web. Unlike the I beam, which has tapered edges and is generally lighter, the H beam features straight edges and offers greater load-bearing capacity.

Wide flange beams are commonly utilized in a variety of applications, including structural, construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. They are available in both inch sizes (conforming to ASTM, BS, and DIN standards) and metric sizes (in accordance with JIS standards).

CHANNEL BAR

Sometimes referred to as a C-channel or C-beam, this structural section also features a web and two flanges. However, unlike the H-beam, the flanges of the C-channel only extend from one side of the web. This versatile material is widely used in various structural applications.

C-channels are available in both inch sizes (compliant with ASTM, BS, and DIN standards) and metric sizes (following JIS standards).

SHEET PILES

These sections feature edges that create an interlocking system, allowing them to be stacked side by side to form a continuous wall. This configuration is commonly used to retain water or soil, making it ideal for various structural and construction applications.

There are three main types of these sections, typically available in 12-meter lengths:

  • Type II: 400mm x 100mm x 10.5mm, weighing 48 kg/m
  • Type III: 400mm x 125mm x 13mm, weighing 60 kg/m
  • Type IV: 400mm x 170mm x 15.5mm, weighing 76.1 kg/m

These sections are available in both inch sizes (compliant with ASTM, BS, and DIN standards) and metric sizes (in accordance with JIS standards).

ANGEL BAR

A structural steel section with a cross-section resembling an L, commonly known as an “L bracket,” is frequently used in masonry and various surface applications through welding and drilling. It is often employed to support beams and other platforms.

L brackets come in two types: equal angle legs and unequal angle legs.

  • Equal Angle Bar: Thickness starts at 3mm with dimensions of 25mm x 25mm, up to 12mm thick with dimensions of 150mm x 150mm. Other sizes are available upon request.
  • Unequal Angle Bar: Thickness starts at 6mm with dimensions of 50mm x 75mm, up to 12mm thick with dimensions of 90mm x 150mm. Additional sizes are available upon request.

These structural sections are versatile and widely used in construction for their strength and ease of application.
